Schiller Elementary School

Some teachers like Mrs. Walfeldt and Mrs knoll are amazing, but the PE teacher, ms Patton likes to put her hands on the children, yell, and make them feel stupid. I witnessed her grab a student by his collar and pull him down the hallway because he was late for class. I was not allowed to go to my son's classroom to celebrate his birthday with him while his class ate cupcakes that I brought. My son was diagnosed with influenza and when I sent him back to school I I left a message for the front office to call me if he got sick because he still wasn't feeling well but he had already missed so much school he wanted to try to get through the day. Well, he threw up and they did not call me I had to find out from someone else that he threw up and when I called and asked the lady at the front desk she was really rude and told me that she did not know if he was sick. She lied to me. I would not recommend the school to anyone who has any other options. The PE teacher should have been let go a long time ago she does not like kids and is very mean to them. The principle seems really nice at first but she is incredibly two faced. I just don't think that they care about the kids and I don't think they help the children who need extra help. I really can't say enough about how awful I think the school is but again there are a few great teachers there that were the only reason I allowed my child to stay in that school .
