I've adopted two cats from this shelter. The first cat was healthy and had no health problems. She was already fixed. I adopted a second cat from here, and he seemed to be healthy too. I was told that they had already treated him for worms, so I didn't think anything of it when he had runny stool as the medicine for worms can sometimes cause. A month later, he developed bloody stool and upon taking him to the vet, he had ringworms. I had to get both of my cats treated for worms.nnAs for the staff, they don't seem to care about the animals very much. The dog kennels aren't clean, and neither are their food and water bowls. When we went to adopt our second cat, multiple cats had runny stool. When interacting with the cats, there was little to no supervision.nnThat being said, I've adopted my two fur babies from here and could not be happier, regardless of the circumstances, to have them in my life.

I wish I could give 0 stars. They had 2 kittens up for adoption. Went and picked them up and the were so ill. Bloody diarrhea, dehydrated, malnourished, vomiting, lethargic. Took them to the vet the next day and they had a very high positive feline Parvo test. They were literally dying. They had to be euthanized less the 20 hours after their adoption. There is NO WAY the staff didnt see how sick they were. The suffering those poor babies endured just so they could make a buck! SMH

They put down a perfectly healthy pit a day after she was brought in as a stray. They didn’t try to find the owner and didn’t try to adopt her out they just put her down instead but adopted out the dog she was brought in withud83eudd14 . She wasn’t aggressive she was super sweet and active. Literally a horrible shelter

We have now gotten 3 dogs from them. The last time we went we were looking for a replacement for my wife's dog who is buried on my farm. We came home with 2 absolutely wonderful dogs instead of 1. They had all their shots and we saw the records. Really happy even though we have to drive 50 miles to get there.

We got a beautiful kitten here years ago but she passed on. The new facility is excellent and please give whatever you are able to help a worthy cause
