Ray the contractor from brick Street plumbing was very professional, knowledgeable, and went the extra mile to ensure my water heater was installed correctly and efficiently. Ray explained everything and put my family as ease with all the water leakage n my basement. Great guy and took his job seriously. Thanks Ray

Company came out and assessed I needed a new water heater, which was evident.nnAmerican Home Shield approved it and I knew I would have to pay a little out of pocket.nnI called back to schedule and was met with an annoyingly sarcastic rep who acted like I didn't have a right to request in writing wth I am being charged $600+ for. They did zero measurements so how they concluded a definitive amount was suspicious... without a work order in writing. I have NEVER experienced that. Then how can I be sure I won't be charged more the day of installation?nnExtremely poor business practice.nnThe only positive is that they came out timely.

I agree with many of the reviews here about these plumbing contractors not returning calls and nor providing adequate information. It all started well, the field guy came out and was polite and professional. He stated the company would reach out shortly through the insurance. My insurance offered a lump sum and stated that I should contact the plumbers for the details of the work and the breakdown of the price. I contacted Brick St Plumbing and the receptionist stated that a manager will get back to me with the details of the work. It never happened even after calling them again and giving them several days to respond. It seems giving a customer a written estimate is not what these plumbers do, even after approved by the insurance. I'm in the construction industry and this is considered industry standard, to provide a clear estimate with the scope of work and the price. Anyways, they never provided that and never returned my calls. I simply went with someone else through Angie's List and couldn't be happier with the prompt and professional service. I would advise those considering this company to get estimates from other plumbers in their area and compare not only the price but also the customer service. Just think, if its challenging to get them to provide a written estimate and return your calls, imagine how hard it would be once you've paid them and you need to call them back for whatever reason...

I was concerned about the reviews that I saw here. But Ray came to my townhouse and quickly fixed and replaced a valve / hose that was leaking. Scheduling with Brick Street was quite easy and they were able to come out within 24 hours.

Terrible I also have American Home Shield. The person who took the call was rude, impatient and unprofessional. I had no choice but to go through them because of my home warranty. A week after the installation, I became aware that they had not turned on all of the water. My outside water was not working. I called AHS as I did not want to speak directly with Brick Street due to their poor customer service. They informed AHS that it would be a separate ticket as they had deemed it unrelated to my water heater. WHAT???So I called back and left a message asking for a call back. If they could just tell me how to turn the outside water back on. They have never returned my call. I too would give them 0 stars if possible. Go with ANY OTHER PLUMBING SERVICE!!
