I had been jumping around from barber to barber. When I found this place I was looking for an experience barber. Now, Anthony has been my barber ever since. If you want cheap, it’s not here. Standard price is $20 but well worth it. Make appointment, usual haircuts take 45 mins to an hr.nThis barber shop is for mature men.nI like that they stay open til 9 pm. “ Who else stays open that late.”

Love the vibe. Usually I take my 17yr old to get a fade at The Emp. All barbers are exceptional. They know their business its very obvious. They are more creative than other places.nOne thing .... They drip pride lol not all but some do know they are good and might act a little mamones. LolnAs long as they do a great job on my kid's hair I can care less even if they levitate!nMy son has his favorite barber...he is super nice, cool, down to earth, does a great job all the time! I don't mind to wait for my kids turn for almost an hour. It is worth it.

Benjamin is the best!! I have been taking my son (6years old) to him for the last 2 1/2 years...He is the standard for superior service and on time.nMy son is biracial (Black/ Mexican) and Benjamin has never failed. He is always in time and flexible and creative!!

Props to Sabino, he is one of the best barbers I have ever know. Very professional. The rest of the crew is very courteous as well. Would definitely recommend Empire Barbershop at Mission to anyone looking to get an excellent hair cut and beard trim.

Have no idea. But with customer service like that it can’t be any good. Walked in, it was empty. Two guys said “appointment only” and wouldn’t be available for another hour. Didn’t bother to set my Son up with an appointment. Been sitting in the parking lot for 15 minutes. Still empty. Correction* It’s now been 18 minutes. And still no customers. Doesn’t matter how good they are I wouldn’t bother stopping by this place. New to the RGV and it was my first stop. Now 21 minutes, nothing. Just noticed a sign that says “walk-ins welcome” on the door. That’s a lie.
