Dean H. Krueger Elementary School

We love Krueger! Our boys started there when it opened, and have since moved on to other schools; but the entire school was wonderful. Our youngest is special needs, and received the best services that could be offered. Everyone at Krueger strives to create the best educational environment possible!

The teachers are amazing at Krueger Elementary and I would give the teachers 5 stars. However, the front office staff are not. They are rude, they make you wait forever without even acknowledging you and they are always messing up if you need to relay a message to your child or the child's teacher. There's no accountability in that front office and they get very defensive when faced with a concern instead of offering help.

We love Krueger Elementary School - top notch teachers & administrators!! My daughter started there when it opened. My younger kid is attending Krueger and he really enjoys going to school.

Its public school. Focus seems to be more on equality over excellence.

My daughter has attended 4th and 5th grade at Dean Krueger Elementary. For such a HUGE school (over 1000 kids!) the faculty has worked hard to keep this school and the children safe, striving for success, clean, and friendly. I love how the school prepares the 5th graders for middle school by having them rotate teachers and classes. The level at which your child achieves success is based on 1. the child's drive 2. the parents involvement 3. the quality of education offered. The school has no control over our involvement as busy, and sometimes frazzled parents, but they do encourage the children to communicate with their parents. I am grateful that the teachers are always ready and willing to give extra tutoring to the children that make the time and effort to go in and ask for help.nnI've noticed that even though this school really needs to be capped at a MUCH lower number of students the environment is not painfully stressful. Due to the councilors and the student programs offered through the councilors my daughter and her entire group have flourished and become even more successful and confident. I know that without the councilors, Mrs. R. and Ms. Z., that the students wouldn't be as far ahead as they are now.nnIn summary, Dean Krueger is one of the best and top rated schools in Texas due to the level of emotional support combined with intellectual aids. We are fortunate that this school has kept it's high standards even with the increasing number of students.
