So, I’ll skip over all the basics (e.g., professionalism) and tell you about a few specifics that stood out for me personally:nnFlexible & Patient: Buying a home is a super fluid process. Your needs evolve as you go, and Kyle seamlessly adjusted with us (e.g., changing our budget/price point, narrowing down neighborhoods, etc.). I was living in NY. So, aside from physically viewing houses, most of the process was done remotely. Being remote came with its own challenges, and on several occasions Kyle quietly bore that burden (e.g., running around town to tile stores to eyeball tile in person, going to the house when I couldn’t, etc.).nnTrusted Advisor: A LOT comes at you when buying a home. I did a new build, which comes with what felt like an endless barrage of decisions, build-related issues, and a rollercoaster of (my own) emotions. Kyle was instrumental in advising me on literally every decision, from picking out tile, to navigating how to proceed when more significant issues arose. Her even-keel demeanor and real estate experience meant I got really sound advice, including helping me filter out the noise and focus on the important things. The longer we worked together, the more I was ready to defer to her judgment for basically everything.nnAdvocate: Kyle is truly your advocate. I had several build-related issues that popped up, and when I wasn’t satisfied with resolution from the builder, she went out of her way to set things right, even at her own personal expense (both time and $). Her husband even ended up installing one of the light fixtures himself!nnA huge thank you to Kyle, Wil, Melissa, and the entire Clough Team for making this a memorable experience.
