Big Shake's Hot Chicken & Fish

Big Shakes brings hot chicken to Williamson Co. & beyond. Call it Nashville hot chicken, but it is simply delicious! Support this special place for it friendly staff, easy going atmosphere and most of all for the GREAT food! If you're a 'cry baby' the kitchen is too hot...'stop drop and roll' if you dare...share the half chicken and 2 sides , there is plenty for two!

My wife and I heard about Big Shake's and Saturday while in Franklin,Tn thought we would give it a try. While entering, This place had a nice vibe and awesome music playing which was playing at a pleasant volume. We were immediately greeted by the staff. Since we had never been here before we had a few questions that they were glad to answer for us. We both ended up getting the catfish with the crybaby spice, and seasoned fries. I also got the Shake's beans which were seasoned white beans.Our food was served quickly and hot. The food was fresh and had an amazing great taste. We were also excited that while there they had live entertainment. We were very impressed with our experience at Big Shake's. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Go to Big Shakes! You will not regret the decision...my only regret is that I did not go sooner. Ordered the chicken and waffles and they were outstanding. The team at the register greets you with a smile and is happy to patiently explain the levels of heat so that you enjoy your meal. The breading on the chicken is crispy and the chicken is moist and fresh. If you need some extra heat they will gladly take it up a notch for you. Can’t wait to go back and try the catfish!!

The best hot chicken in the Franklin area. Rambo is my jam. I'd highly recommend that you try the catfish as well -- I thought it was a bit strange at first, but, I actually prefer the catfish over the hot chicken. Spicy catfish dipped in creamy tartar sauce is now something I crave. It's sort of similar to the contrast you get with spicy buffalo wings and blue cheese, but, with perfectly fried catfish. Took one star off because while the hot chicken and fish is fantastic, the sides are kinda uninspiring. They aren't *bad*, just not particularly good or memorable.

Chicken was fantastic. Facilities were clean. Staff was pleasant. Live music was really good. The only reason I detracted a star was because I like my chicken spicy, not the addition of spicy mayonnaise. The staff added spice to my sandwich but the Rambo wasn’t hot enough. Maybe next time I need the executioner or I need to sign the waiver and go all in!!
