I have gone to Grassroots salon in Layton off and on for years. Sometimes I try a different place but I always seem to come back. Kristen did a great job cutting my hair! Thank you!!!

Edited: There must be new management as service is terrible now and the salon is very dirty. I had to walk over large clumps of hair several times. I called about my concerns and they said management would call me back- that was three weeks ago and still no call. Very disappointing This location has very good service all around. You would think that all Aveda stores would be that way, but that is not the case in the Salt Lake Valley, so choose wisely.

This has been my favorite Salon and Spa for years. The staff are always super nice and helpful. Lexi helped me go through several different hairstyle phases and always does the best job. She really listens to what I want and will offer suggestions on what she believes are the best options. Elissa has been awesome introducing me to world of waxing and has been very informative without being pushy. She explains benefits of the different services and is very understanding of letting me figure out what I want and need. Melissa and MaKenna are amazing and super friendly. They go above and beyond to make sure you are welcome and get the service you deserve. Love this place!

Sierra, is AMAZING. I live in Texas and visit my brother during the summer. I will ONLY let Sierra cut my hair from now on. She gets what customers want. She also cut my mom's hair and my mom is elated. We will look great for our upcoming event. She will also be cutting my daughter and nieces hair. Amazing customer service and professionalism. Totally worth waiting to get scheduled in.

I came in needing some emergency help ...i had just had surgery and while recovering I had acquired a really bad snarl in my hair close to my scalp I had worked on it for 2days and could not get it out so it was Monday and I had a Dr. Apt at 1 so after 1 last attempt at washing it out. I had to make an emergency appt Kyle got me right in she had to cut all my hair off but she cut it into a really cute A line that I really like!! I had called her with only an hour to kill b4 my appt. She was fast and did a great job and I was on time for my appt. Thank you Kyle for the great job and I will be back. You did awesome!!
