St Clair Senior Center

I've had an opportunity to meet people after retirement. There is always something going on, learning how about a healthier life style, exercise classes and travel. I love it and I'm never bored. There is something to do every day if you choose to.

I was initially introduced to the St. Clair St. Senior Singers after my wife heard them sing at her Newcomers Club of Murfreesboro Christmas Party. So, naturally she said go listen to their next performance...and not only did I listen...I sang WITH them that day and again the next week. This Christmas Season I have sung at three concerts and plan on more...such great people that Conductor Charlie Parker assembles!!

There are so many wonderful things to do from billiards, crafts, educational presentations, and more. I always enjoy presenting financial education here because I meet so many interesting people with interesting life stories.

We attended a dance tonight and had a wonderful time! The Beachgrove Bob Band was fantastic as usual! The Senior Center supplied appropriate snacks and drinks for the diabetic or the sweet tooth! St Claire's Senior Center is an awesome facility that offers so many classes, trips, games, entertainment, lunches, library, puzzels, arts & crafts, billards, exercises, conversations, etc etc! It is a great place for singles and couples alike. Don't be scared, go check it out! Joining St Claire's Senior Center is the BEST REWARD for being 60 years old!!
