I like this police dept because the DARE officer (Bradly?) is an awesome human being and great law man. He does so much for ppl and is greatly beloved. This guy would be there to help anyone + do so w professionalism and integrity. Every officer Iv ever seen in BW has been fully focused on doing their job which includes observation. I always feel their protective presence while shopping +visiting in Brentwood, even at night.

I was driving SB on Franklin Road near Brentwood Market and Deli when I noticed an unmarked police car (Blue Ford Explorer May 20 Tag) attempt to swerve into my lane. I was in the right lane. The car in front of him was slowing down, and he tried to switch lanes quickly without seeing me. I slammed on the horn to avoid a wreck. The officer immediately got behind me with his lights on and pulled me over. He accused me of speeding and swerving lanes when, in fact, it was him who needed to slow down. The officer was very rude and mean. Having just moved to Brentwood, I can say this police department seems to think they are above the law.

A great police department. I have seen officers here push cars out of the road, help a confused elderly person, stand in the snow directing traffic at a wreck - and yes, get shot protecting the public from a bank robber and stopping him. The folks putting negative reviews here over one incident are off base and certainly know nothing about the outstanding men and women of this department. One of the most professional law enforcement groups I have seen.
