Pollo Campero

If you aren't familiar with this Salvadoran chicken place, you gotta try it. It is so popular that before it came to the U.S., planes headed from San Salvador to the U.S. world be filled with chicken. I'd assume at least two-thirds of the passengers were carrying boxes of chicken. I love the fried chicken, but their empanadas are also wonderful.

I normally have pictures, but today we were so hungry that I couldn’t even find my phone fast enough. They food was so delicious. This is the only location in TN. We ordered 8 fried pc with 2 sides. Everything was flavorful & the Campero Sauce is like a honey gold or honey mustard kinda flavor. It’s good. Just try them. I promise you won’t be displeased. If you eat Church’s Chicken, KFC, etc. then you can bring that money over this way honey.

The food was perfectly seasoned and the plantains were amazing. I had to eat in my car before driving because I didn't want to social distance myself from them. ud83dude02
