I just wanted to say Thank you to the Millersville police officer who responded to a call on November 24, 2015. He was extremely knowledgeable on domestic abuse, kind and gentle. My X had attacked me and I had wounded her trying to protect myself. She had called the police to finish retrieving her belongings because I had managed to get her locked out of the house. I was terrified to open the door when the officer arrived, because of that crazy law that both go to jail in domestic violence cases. When I finally let him in and he saw me the first thing he said was “what did she do to you?” I explained that she pinned me on the couch until I couldn’t breathe, which explained the blood in the middle of my tank top, considering I had clawed her profusely on the top of her arms. He then proceeded to ask the proper questions which explained the blood on my clothes, because I was not bleeding. He arrested her and helped me try to locate my phone and tablet, which she had stolen and put in her car. I’m sorry that I can’t remember your name, but I hope you remember me. He was a tall older man that said he trains other officers on domestic violence. I’ve never seen her again, besides court, and I’m safe in another state. Everyone on here complaining about Millersville PD...... stop breaking the law or giving them a reason to pull you over and you won't have a problem or a reason to complain. That's kinda how it works. They are doing there job. If I had to put money on it yall wouldn't last a month doing what they do.

Kind of hard to say anything really nice about the police. We asked how we could get home since our exit was blocked off to get to Greenbrier and Springfield and we got told that we need to get on the interstate. We realize this, but we just wanted to know if there was an alternate route to get home since the road was flooded due to the rain. Unfortunately we got no help at all. Your guys could be a bit more helpful to newcomers to the area instead of being so ill mannered

Just because people are trying to give one stars for no reason, I think I’ll give them five stars. Anyone willing to put on the badge and uniform is worthy of praise in my book.nnAs for the campground comment, I’ve checked it, that is in Millersville’s jurisdiction, so they’re not doing anything illegal.

Living here for a while has shown that these cops do their jobs, but are extremely rude half the time and try to find anyone to pull over.nnIve had the cops lie on a ticket against me, which I went to court for and payed but still wasn't right they lied.
