Went to get someones bank card from her personal things at 4:10 and they told me cut off time was 4:00. That I would hv to come back on Monday to do. If u can’t fill out a piece of paper to release personal items to someone before time to leave work. Y does it take a hour to do this. They always say there under staff. I’ve seen plenty of works walking around or sitting down doin nothing. The lady at the window is very rude n doesn’t seem to want to help u at all. The law anymore is not for the people. It’s to keep people from having any rights because they made a mistake. Lord help us.

I dont think this place should be hiring close family and friends of the bond company who does the most and Millions of dollars of bonds here. They aren't exactly sweeping the floors either, they are scheduled and placed where most effective for that company, like bond court entrance, intake, & direct contact with inmates and their information. Millions and millions of dollars..

What a hassle. They repeatedly gave me wrong information over the phone. This is all done verbally on purpose! Any other jail has a website or database you can get correct information within 1hour of intake. Here at Dorchester it will take you litterally three to four days for a right answer to appear anywhere in print, unless you decide to take the bondsmans word for it who calls next of kin. But I would rather see it in clear black & white though. Never seen anything like this. Very frustrating its wrapped up pretty tight.

Very inconsistent! One day the guards were telling us what bondsman was the best to use that we need to call, then the next the day I ask again because I forgot his name & I get totally opposite & different answer! Now suddenly they say they are not even allowed to tell me!? Like what? Whats going on here? Everything is verbal here even the inmates' information probably because they can give you wrong info then just deny deny deny. Like I said inconsistent and nobody is ever held accountable.

These people lied to me. Said I had to pay a specific bondmanlawyer to get my friend out, turns out that was a big lie and I could have chose to use anyone I wanted. Now Iam sure I got overcharged in the process. Plus the guy called me before I even called him. Its like they knew we were people who dont get arrested and took advantage of us. Feel conned by the own police.
