Hiring Oak trust properties was one of the best decisions I could have made in making my house a rental property. Rachel was super helpful. I had to leave town fairly quickly due to work and they were able to help coordinate some final services to make my house ready for the market. Even better, my house was rented within 3 days of being on the market. Rachel and Oak Trust as a company are incredibly professional and responsive whenever I have a question about something and that is a very calming feeling being so far from my property. Do yourself the favor and hire them.

I live on the west coast, and found Oak Trust Properties while looking for an investment property in Mount Pleasant. I was just trying to plan ahead, but actually got more than I could have imagined.nnI consulted with Keith during the entire property search period. Any listing we were considering making an offer on he detailed exactly how much he was certain he could rent it for. It was incredibly helpful.nnHe was proactive and checked in with me more than my realtor during my property search, and not in a pushy way at all - just in a helpful above and beyond good quality service type way.nnI work with two other property management companies for investment properties (not in SC), and they have nothing like the guarantees you have in the contract with Oak Trust. Oak Trust is by far the best property management company I've worked with.nnI highly recommend them!

Not only did Oak Trust manage our home while it was a rental for 3 years, but they also sold the house extremely quickly - a cash deal before we even put it on the market!! They made the transition between the rental to the sale so smoothly, I am in awe! Being a military family, we had to move out of state and couldn’t be happier or more confident with the service, professionalism and detailed and speedy communication they provided! Their vendors did great work with repairs and maintenance at reasonable to low cost.nnMarie was our property manager - she was quick to get estimates and took time to pay attention to details, make sure the work got done, and communicate with us as first time homeowners and the tenants - all with professionalism and a personal/compassionate touch. There’s a delicate balance between owner and tenant and we felt she mediated that extremely well.nnStephanie Mount was our broker - very knowledgeable, again her attention to detail was amazing and she was able to explain the listing and sale process to us in a way we could understand as first time sellers. Her speedy communication was extraordinary and she was on top of everything, making sure last minute repair work was done before the buyer’s home inspection, and also communicating with the attorney so that everything moved along seamlessly. She is to thank for negotiating the best deal we honestly could have hoped for!nnI’ve read some of the other reviews on here, and honestly they seem like anomalies. Or, homeowners maybe sometimes don’t have realistic expectations of the owner responsibilities and costs that go into the upkeep of a rental home. You may have wear and tear of costly items (HVAC, ugh!), tenants that cause some damage, some never complain or ask for anything, some have accidents like overflowing toilets!! It can be very frustrating (and expensive!) for a homeowner when things like that happen, but Oak Trust was excellent at minimizing those unexpected costs and walked us through our options with sometimes multiple estimates. When you can’t spend the time to manage your own property, or you’re not handy, or you’re not around to do it - I can’t imagine a better company to take care of a rental home than Oak Trust. They have connections with reputable and reasonable vendors. Who wants to deal with all of that anyway! Life is hard enough as it is when you work full time or have kids - or both!! Or, your spouse is deployed and you have to manage all of that yourself! Oh, and their fees are extremely reasonable!! Especially with all of the work they do and their expertise!!nnLike I said - can’t imagine a better company to entrust your investment property! I would recommend them to my own family!

I live out of state and have had Oak Trust Properties manage my rental property for past 3 yrs. They managed all aspects of my rental from finding tenants quickly, to informing me immediately of any problems or repairs needed and handle all aspects with their vendors or my own.. They are very flexible, professional and I have complete trust in them and peace of mind. I would recommend them to anyone.
