After waiting for hours at two other locations and not getting seen. (Drivers compliance) i tried this location. The lady working in drivers compliance was a 1 woman operation, so helpful and sweet!

I had to wait outside three hours today and had my granddaughter who is one with me. I had to pay a ticket I received Nov. 1990, 30 years ago, and was sent to an old address. I just received it Friday and my license was to be suspended tomorrow. The sign in process at the DPS is very confusing and frustrating. One sign says don't knock. A man that worked there said to rattle the door or she won't know you are out here. I knocked and this lady opened the door and said Can't you read??? No knocking!!! A nice Spanish speaking only man stood out there longer than me and never got any help. He tried to show a couple of workers his phone for an interpreter but he just left not helped. It was very frustrating. Once it was my turn it took five minutes.

First let say the rating does not reflect my interaction with the staff. The staff were great and doing the best that they could under the circumstances. However I would give the DPS IT team negative stars. The system is up and down constantly. There was a more than 2 hour delay because the system they use keapt going down. From what I heard from others in line this seems to be a regular occurence of late. Given the onlineinline appointment scheduling is also booked 2 months out you have to make a pre dawn trip to stand inline for 2+ just hoping you get to take care of business.

They don’t even answer the phone i can’t imagine the service in person.
