I called to file a report for debit card fraud against my step son today. I spoke with Officer Dean, who then spoke with the Chief and told us that it was a civil matter. Since when is debit card fraud a civil matter. I get that Perkins is a small town and everyone knows everyone but I assumed like an idiot apparently that these officers are required to file a report and allow the prosecutor to decide if it should be perused. Just another example of bad police officers who think they are god. I filed a formal complaint against the department but doubt that will actually matter. I genuinely hope they understand they are creating a cycle that is allowing people to break the law with ZERO consequences. Congratulations on creating more criminals.

The police in this city are some of the worst I have ever seen. I have witnessed and have video of them harassing individuals on numerous occasions and profiling many times. They speed thru town and go outside their jurisdiction have been tailgated and bright lighted by them many times just to get me to screw up so they have a reason to stop you and get some money flowing thru their station. If a citizen was to do anything these pigs do in this town we would be locked up. They have even stolen property from people's vehicles and purses one has a deal worked out with the tow truck driver so that they can keep and resell your vehicle for a little extra cash. I have witnessed and overheard them first hand. DON'T TRUST PERKINS COPS AND FILM THEM IN EVERY INTERACTION AND FIR OTHERS. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS DON'T LET THEM SCREW YOU OUT OF THEM.

The Chief is always willing to listen to a delema and help where he can. Most of the officers are pleasant and helpful.
