Reviews
What started out great has become horror. Currently, for the 2017 school year, the administration is paralyzed. They can not effectively deal with the harassment and bullying that takes place nearly non stop. As a family we have offered to work with the school on these issues. We feel it is important that both the school and the parents work together. This year that is not happening. The children are depressed and sick from the stress of being pulled into punishment for all when a subset are guilty. This is not and has never been effective administration. My child who is an outstanding student with fantastic grades is committed to education. He enjoys learning. He is also sick. He is mentally and physically sick every day. So much so we will have to remove him. It is sad that we still have to deal with such issues. I would carefully consider my options when choosing schools.
My step grandson went there until they moved away in 3rd grade. My granddaughter has been there since kindergarten and will be leaving there this year as she moves to middle school. We have not had any problems with this school in the time she has been there. Love this school.
This school is a horrible school..... My kid was bullied and the faculty and staff had known it was going on but did nothing not so much as pick up the phone and tell me (the parent).......nHer Father passed away the second day of school and with it being so unexpected I went to the social worker and counselors for some guidance on how to tell my daughter well they gave me advice and said when she got back to school that they would check on her and eat lunch when she did and help her ....... Well yet again they did nothing!!!!!! These teachers and staff are being payed for nothing cause that's all they do, I'm shocked that the review says it's a good school they obviously have it confused with another school
this school was fun. i went hear in 3rd through 5th and now im in 7th so.. yeh u make friends... and shiz
Come on dudes really? Every single school has and deals with bullying. Yes I do agree they could make the 4th and 5th graders more of a role model instead of being obnoxious and disrespectful but I remember being in 5th grade and we were phenomenal!! I remember wishing to be them big kids when I was in Kindergarten but I definitely don't remember them being that annoying as said in these reviews. I don't know, maybe things have changed? Either way, this is the MOST RECOMMENDED SCHOOL FOR YOUR KIDDO. These teachers and workers really work hard to inspire these kids to do their best in life and achieve their high set goals. Special needs kids are totally welcome and are respected and guided with an assistant depending on their situation. The hallways are clear of bullies, skipping students, trash, and unorganized lines. it is very uncommon for it to be that way. Also the projects are not at all too much to handle. It could be the partners but if they tell the teacher it'll all fall into place. I guarantee you that your child will fit in with a group and make friends instantly in this school. Also, I've always been a slow learner and insecure kid but this school really helped me be myself, catch up and even get ahead of other students! I am so thankful I enrolled into this school 10 years ago, I would not be myself or have my best friend since kindergarten without it. Kids get credit for their hardwork, awards for creativity, and maybe a celebration like a pizza party for the class, depending on the type of teacher. I really hope this school keeps the tradition of inspiring kids to be the best person they can.nnbtw kids WILL get punished for disobeying the rules after multiple warnings.n(probably 3 warnings) (punishment could be call home, suspended, or principle discussion)nnI recommend choosing this school!! The Book Fairs excite the kids with trailers and there are amazing activities like Field Day or just an Award CerimonynI never would have thought I'd speak so highly of a school. I dealt with severe anxiety and depression and I am proud to say I majorly improved so much(:
