Village Laundromat

Today, I finally had the opportunity to request a refund from the owner/manager of the Laundromat. The owner/manager was very belligerent and rude. For starters, I was immediately told that I wouldn't receive a refund if he was unable to verify that I had called the number on the sign. I had called the number several months ago when the incident occurred - never received a call back. Refund amount $14.00. Advised the owner/manager that the statement was insulting and disrespectful...I'm a 52 yrs. old AA female, no motive to lie for $14.00.nThe Owner/manger then proceed with questioning me as to what machines were used. I provided information and also provided him an update as to what washers don't provide accurate water. At this point owner/manager started to interrupt me and became extremely loud when he realize that another patron was providing same feed back about the machines not working properly. I requested his name, owner/manager stated that establishment was owned by a corporation. Requested corporation number and email. Owner/manager refused to provide information. I stated that I was going to contact Better Business Bureau and file a formal complaint. Owner/manager stated that he definitely wasn't giving me a refund since I was going to contact BBB. I advised owner/manager that I couldn't be bought for $14.00 and once again I was highly insulted.nnWorst Laundromat - machine never works, nothing never fixed. Constantly being harassed by homeless, crack heads and an OWNER/MANAGER that refuse to fix anything and provide a refund. I will never spend my money in an establishment that don't appreciate and respect me. I'm mentally and emotional exhausted after the interaction with the owner/manager whom consistently badger, steal from the AA community(by not providing refunds for machines that don't work properly) and harassed me when he realize I was going to write a review and file a complaint with the BBB.nNews FLASH! This Laundromat isn't accredited with the BBB. STAY AWAY!

The worst It always smell most of the machines don’t work properly I have to keep wasting money bc it’s not drying all the way through time on doors are wrong went to get more change out my car and the door locked me out had 15 mins left on clothes and can’t them til 6 in the morning unbelievable I got three at 1030 it locked me out at 11 :05 such a huge inconvenience at this point I just need my dryer fixed and I won’t have to come back her at all
