Drain Openers Plus

Do not waste your time or money with this business. We had a leak from our well to our pump and were using a home warranty service so we weren't sure if it would be covered. They let us know that someone would have to come out and assess whether they would fix it and we would have to pay $100 just to get it looked at. The Drain Opener owner came out, got his check and said he would send the claim in and would let us know by the next night. This was a Thursday so we assumed we would know something by Friday night or Saturday. When Monday rolled around and we hadn't heard anything we contacted the warranty service and they had to call Drain Openers. They were then informed that the owner had not even submitted the claim yet and he advised he would have it in by that night and then again it would be a couple of days for an answer. Now by Friday we still had no communication from Drain Openers or the warranty company. I again called the warranty company and apparently they had advised Drain Openers that the fix was not covered soon after the submittal of the claim at the first of the week, but apparently they couldn't be bothered to call and let us know. So we basically handed him $100 to come to our house for a little look see and he couldn't even be bothered with calling and seeing if we wanted him to fix it and pay for it ourselves or to let us know it wasn't covered.

Phil is a dishonest crook. He was sent by our home warranty company to fix a water shut off valve. He lied straight to my face and told me he repaired it in an extremely condescending way. He put a piece of old electrical tape around it and took payment and left and wouldn”t answer his phone. Apart from being a military family, he’s taking advantage of people in the middle of a pandemic when people are struggling to put food on the table and keep a roof over their head. DO NOT EVER HIRE HIM. He is a crook and steals from hard working military families.

If you want an unqualified, unprofessional and dishonest plumber this is the one you should call. He will damage your equipment and make untruthful comments to you and the home warranty insurance provider. End result your problem isn’t resolved and you have to deal with the aggravation for the unforeseeable future. He doesn’t even deserve a 1 star but I had to select 1 star to be able to warn others about this self proclaimed plumber.

Horrible customer service. Drain Openers came out to our home to look at the water heater. We told them at that time that we wanted the work done and would be calling as soon as we spoke with our home warranty company. We called Drain Openers back that same day to schedule (as well as three other days that week) and NO ONE called us back. We wasted four days with no hot water in our home attempting to contact them to get the ball rolling. Never will I recommend this company to anyone. Even if I was on fire!!!!!

I would not rate this company with any stars but in order to post my review I had to give it at least a one star. I was not happy with the service provided. And when was Contacted about the concerns no one ever contacted me back.
