Emerald Isle Police Department

Watch the radar, particularly around the bridge; the police are itching to give tickets and aren't very nice about it. They also pick on the same vehicle, and I suspect they share license plates with nearby towns.

I had what turned out to be a non life threatening accident last weekend. The Emerald Isle Police Department was there within minutes of our call to 911. I can’t begin to explain the relief I felt when they pulled up. We take so much for granted until we are the ones who need their services. These guys deserve more than 5 stars for the work they do everyday. I’m so thankful to live in such a great town with such wonderful emergency responders. Thank you all!
