Suggest visiting. I have kids of various ages. Was over the head of my 6 year old and we do our best working with explaining money earned and money spent. Probably better for 9+ y/o. My other son and nephews (9, 12) had a good time. Still, overall family friendly visit.
The only museum you get a bag of money (shredded) to visit.nnInteresting museum for those looking for something outside the norm.nnMuseum is well done, exhibits appear to be fairly up to date. They are some interactive exhibits.nnAllow yourself some time to enjoy the exhibits.nnEntrance is a bit hidden as it is part of the Federal reserve, but security is more than accommodating and friendly.
Cool place to see a lot of cool history major events taking place in the United States of America.
Great place to visit - its a federal bank so there's security... but neat museum!
Underwhelming at best. Full security check to see projection displays of people working in the mint with their faces blurred, and television information. Bag of money was a tiny bag that our kids didn't even want. Took us 10 minutes to complete.
