My daughter is new at the school. This school is a blue ribbon. But they do not have a sense of community. You do not feel welcomed and the teacher. Does not even know anything about her students. Her answer was there is to many students. The teacher from the other years knew. The strengths and weaknesses of all her students. Which is in my opinion how a teacher should be.
Although it is a blue ribbon winning school, it has no sense of community. Principal is very rude and hides from the parents. No opinions or suggestions are welcome by the principal. My daughter went to this school for two years and every time I saw the principal and said hi to her, she would just walk by with an attitude and not answer back. I'm glad my daughter only went here for two years because I don't think she would have strived as much as she has in her new school.
When my son broke his right arm, he was going to be in a cast for a few weeks but his teacher and the principal were trying to placed him in Special Ed. classes stating he had extra needs and was probably going to have to repeat the same year because of his condition... I'm glad he's not attending this school anymore, plus principal is very sarcastic and rude!
