A very well kept apartment complex, expensive leases and on one of the busiest roads in the city especially in the early morning to work and evening drive home.

The apartment staff was very decent and made the transition to move in and out quite easy. They were never rude and were attentive to your needs. They are also compassionate based on your individual needs and treated everyone fairly(from my perspective). Maintenance was always on time and responded adequately.nnI’ve rated River Walk three stars because the apartments are not luxurious in any sense. The grounds are very unkept and the gate is usually always broken. The only side that looks nice is the side by the lake/Clyde Fant highway part I’m assuming to draw future renters in. I urge you when viewing an apartment to ask them to let you see the entire complex grounds and not just that one side.nnIf you work the night shift, it does not feel very safe because the lighting is very poor and so many people who aren’t residents have taken up all the close parking spots to your building( and you have to pay extra for covered parking).nnDuring my time there, they spent time and money painting the railings and apartment doors black but the gate was still broken, pot holes everywhere, and very poor lighting on the grounds. You can only use xfinity/comcast(at least a that’s what I was told) and no other company for wireless connections.nnMy bedroom also had water damage on the roof from the rain which caused it to spread a little, indicating that the roofing needs to be redone.nnOverall, if you’re looking for an apartment where you get what you pay for, this is not it.

Love this place! Everything is beautiful--from my apt itself to clubhouse, lovely lake, and fountain. The staff is top notch! Only recommendations I would make is improve grass--too many weeds. Easy remedy--weed /feed in spring and fall. Also exterior paint needed in some areas, which I understand will be scheduled. Overall, I recommend this complex highly to anyone looking for an upscale place to live.ud83dude0anKathy P

I stayed at Riverwalk apartment for 13 months and my experience there was horrible. The apartment is roach infested, no weekly/monthly pest control service. You have to call the leasing apartment to schedule for the pest control and it takes days before they get there. The security gate never works. And IT’S NOT A LUXURY apartment, they charge a lot for an apartment with basic amenities. The gym equipments are outdated and they are all rusting. Although the apartment looks nice on the outside, it’s not nice living there. Before you sign a lease with them, I advise for you to check the other apartments around.

I signed a 6 month lease. At the end of the 6 month lease they doubled my rent when I tried to renew. They never warned me that this is a potential outcome when I signed the initial lease. They don't realized that when you double rent on people you put them through a stressful process of having to move after settling in!
