I was traveling with a friend through Calhoun and had an incident that happen at an hotel where the desk clerk ripped off a friend that I was traveling with..She called 911 on the hotel like anybody would do.when the police arrived they checked and ran our identification and asked us questions that had nothing to do with what happened..Being black in Calhoun will get you treated like a suspect instead of a victim..no investigation was done at the hotel because black lives doesn't matter to this police department nor the city of Calhoun..

Brought them fresh Krispy Kreme donuts for Christmas last year.. They were very appreciative. Even so, every encounter I've had with them, the officers have been pleasant and sometimes even humorous. One time I was pulled over for speeding and I told him that there was no speed limit sign at the point where I entered the roadway, so I didn't know what the limit was. He actually listened to me said he'd verify for next time and gave me a warning. (I wasn't lying!!ud83dude01)
