I love this place! Ace Hardware has anything you can imagine in the likes of fasteners, screws, nuts and bolts etc. Much easier to get in and out of thin big box stores are. And the service is always top notch. Nice hometown atmosphere. Make sure you ask about rewards program. You can actually get some really good coupons.

My local hardware store I shop at frequently. Buying potting soil today I asked for black gold all purpose. She asked if I wanted the organic, and save the world? I said no I'm not saving the world I'll take the all purpose I asked for, thanks. Her reply was, while my wife was holding our 1 year old. Oh I guess you don't care about your kids then. I bit my tongue and said I'll take the all purpose and it'll be the same as it is now for him. I don't need comments like that! It wasn't jokingly either, she was clearly exacerbated!

I'm so glad Hagan Ace is on the island. Very convenient and they usually have what I need so that I don't have to go over the bridge. Staff is knowledgeable
