I went during spring break, it is on campus so it was just my family and me. It was $7 since I didn't have a student I.D on me or free for students. For a campus I was surprised there was even a museum so that was cool but it was still small. The exhibits were nice and many works had a short background or analysis that helped guide you. Overall there was a nice collection of diverse artists and cultures.
Great museum, safe, hidden gem. It is part of the university, and might be why it is not so visited. The exhibits were very well done and we learned a lot about artists we were not very familiar. Will be back.
Nice assortment of works. Very accessible, well displayed. Not huge so doable in my cultural attention span of 1-2 hours. ud83dude42
Wonderful little hidden gem in Tarpon Springs. They have a marvellous permanent collection plus constantly updated special exhibits. Don't forget to visit the museum shop.
I have not visited this museum yet. I have read all the reviews and plan to travel though in the area in April with my granddaughter and husband. Of course we will be stopping at this wonderful sounding museum while we are there !!!!nnWe live in a rural area of Kentucky while we do wear shoes and I don’t have pink curlers in my hair and I do have teeth and I can talk with proper English or Kentucky Slang, we still lack museums and other things in our local area. We do have beautiful green farm land, mountains, and gorgeous lakes, along with beautiful horses.nnThis will be my granddaughters first museum of art. I am every excited to take her anywhere she hasn’t been before. That is why I research things of interest in areas we travel. I think this will be a perfect stop for my list.nnThanks for all the reviews I could read. They were great!
