Yeah, super touristy, but probably the best view from above in Key West. I definitely prefer this than the Key West Lighthouse cus you can get a nice view of Mallory Square and the waters for about the same price.nnIt's one of those places you visit once and you're good. So, definitely would recommend if you never been before and want to learn a little bit more about shipwrecks. They have a lot of into actually in the two levels that's all decked out. There's a person dressed up on the first floor that's available for questions too which I thought was nice.nnOther than that, that's about it!
Fun museum. Lots of information if you take the time to read. Plus history on places in Key West. A really silver bar that weighed 64lbs, you can try to pick up. Well layed out and interesting. The tower gives you a full view of Key West. AC works good and makes it pleasant.
This was a stop on the gravestone and ghost tour. It looked pretty cool on inside. Would have liked to visit in the day. But, while on ghost tour my friend was touched by something unseen and was creeped out. So, didn't even suggest we go back. If that is what you are looking for. Visit. Was clean and interesting
Interesting museum, a few fascinating treasures and shipwreck stories. It was nice to learn a little bit about the history of Key West. Not a ton to do or read though. It was about $15 for 45 minutes worth of activity.
Was good touristy fun, learning about shipwrecks and salvaging. America's first millionaires were salvagers from the Keys, who knew?nnA menagerie of interesting things, Keys bits and shipwrecker's baubles, all worth taking in. Definitely a sight to see.nnWe didn't get to hike up the tower because it was too windy ...but I wasn't exactly looking forward to it either ;)
