We found this location on our way home one day and popped in to give it a try. The drive thru is tight but manageable. I appreciate how they made good use of their small property. I found this visit to be superior to the other locations. The front attendant spent a good amount of time spraying the bugs off our car. He even waved us goodbye when he was done as we entered the wash. That was a nice, personable touch. The wash was thorough and we definitely did not feel rushed through. Our car was shiny clean. We will use this location more often.
The wash was great, even got the crevices in my rims! Powerful vacuums. Brand new! I think I had my car washed during their Grand Opening. Always friendly at Downtown Carwash! I don't have a lot of money to spend, so I get the economy wash. Best wash in town!
Still a great car wash as the other self serve locations. To get in & out though, you have to drive behind the Family Dollar store. It was quite confusing at first because i drove through the Family Dollar parking lot. Once you're finished, you cannot exit straight onto Santa Barbara. There's only 1 exit yet (behind the store) & 2 entrances (one behind the store & the 2nd coming from one way on Santa Barbara). sound confusing? It is but I'm sure only the 1st time getting there.
Same as all the rest. Flashing lights colored soap . Big deal.
I noticed this location recently opened. Im not too familiar with the downtowner car washes, but when I first got there a young girl approached me. She helped me chose what wash I wanted, and she explained to me the way it worked. I would’ve been confused had she have not been there! After the wash my car came out clean and i’ll definitely be back again.
