It is a very dangerous place to try and walk around. The speed limits are 25 miles an hour and everyone seems to drive 50 through the campus. It's almost scary to have to cross the street. And parking is a nightmare. You almost have to walk a mile to get to your destination , that is dangerous with the way that the people drive through the campus.

The captain allowed us to park in their reserved electric vehicle parking space and charge our vehicle. Also, the officers do all they can to provide a safe environment for the students, staff, administration and authorized visitors.

People are friendly and the Norfolk State Police make sure they keep the kids very safe by making regular rounds near the college ... and the college is surrounded by good communities and great churches

Friendly and professional officers that deal with problems the right way. Adequate technology to make you feel safe and a force who seems to actually care.
