I understand enforcing the law, but it shouldn't be legal to be allowed to block roads in neighborhoods. The picture is of an officer with his engine off in the middle of the road.
For the last 3months, the police dept has nothing else to do but send animal control to sit in the parking lot of bayville dog park trying to catch people who don't have their dog leashed when walking the 50ft from the car to the gate. This morning, some woman with a gun and uniform gave a ticket to a woman who was carrying her dogs leash but didn't know the new police state that is the dog park. This is an absurd waste of money, time and again, it's a dog park - you know a place where responsible owners take their dogs to play and socialize with other like minded residents. This is absurd.
They were very gentle when they handcuffed me, and their patrol vehicles are incredibly roomy. Overall, very professional. Will get arrested by them again, for sure.
The 3rd Precinct hosted a Wolf Den from Bayside Pack 364 last week. They were really friendly and helpful, and showed the boys all-around the station including the police cars. The kids really enjoyed themselves. Great bunch of guys - Thanks!!!
My parked car was victimized last night, but thankfully no humans were hurt! Thank you to the Virginia Beach Police Department (3rd Precinct) for their outstanding professionalism and understanding while I blew smoke from my ears!!!
