Pros: It's honestly the good choice for small budget. Great maintaince. Great management.nCons: Not a super safe area, especially the motel nearby. Pretty loud from planes and interstate.

This place is not perfect: I still hate the speed bumps and there was once a car burglary in my parking lot. However, those are basically my only complaints: this place is pretty amazing for the price and location. I attend UofL and work in Indiana, so living next to the highway is extremely convenient for me. Additionally, I feel safer living here than I did in a dorm on campus. The prices for rooms are extremely low for what your getting, as it is very spacious with pretty good utilities. They allowed pets, and I didn't have to wait long to move in. Maintenance staff is friendly and fast. I have been here about 4 months and I am very happy this was the place I chose to live.

Management is very friendly and helpful. Maintenance takes care of problems quickly and quietly. Gym, pool and laundromat kept clean and good. Apartment is comfy enough for me, my partner and my dog. Neighbors are pretty quiet but if you're on the first floor you will hear the upstairs one walking around. Pretty accessible to the I-65 with fast foods around and 3 supermarkets less than 15 minutes away.

I would give 2.5 instead of 3 if I had the option. I've been here for 7 months and my only real complaint is that the walls/ceilings are extremely thin. I can hear it literally every time someone upstairs takes a step and its loud enough to be irritating. You can also hear everyone's music/TV, which is even worse. Maybe I'm just unlucky, but that is my experience. I'd say If you're looking for a calm and quiet place to live, these apartments aren't for you.nnOther than the noise, these apartments aren't bad. The ladies in the office are nice and helpful, maintenance responds to issues quickly, & the units look nice. The area is extremely convenient, with quick access to 65 and plenty of stores and places to eat nearby.

Lived there for over three years, just recently moved. Right by I-65, made commuting to work and school so easy. All the facilities are excellently maintained (gym, pool, laundromat). The community is quiet and everyone was friendly. The staff is very professional and provides quick service for anything you need, from the office personnel to the maintenance department. I highly recommend Tanglewood to anyone looking for an apartment neighborhood community.
