Aloha Dry Cleaners and Laundry

Just moving to Honolulu, I wasn't sure where to go for my dry cleaning. I have a lot of high end designer pieces that I don't always trust will be cleaned with delicate care. I was so pleasantly surprised by this team's service- picking up and dropping off my clothing for really great pricing. Happy with the dry cleaning service and I will continue to be a patron of this business! Well done

I've been putting off all my dry cleaning and alteration needs since I moved to the island simply because I haven't had time to find the right place yet; aloha dry cleaners is not it. I'm giving this place a one star and the one star is for how nice the gentleman that works at the front is.nnI came in back in early January wanting to get some stains out of a dress and also have a zipper repaired on another dress for around $35 which was a little pricey than what I'm used to from the mainland but fine supporting small businesses right? I dropped it off and they said it will be a week turn around time and they will call. I come back in next week because no one called and not only did the zipper dress has not even been looked at, they told me they ran the dress with the stains through the wash and nothing came out. (To be honest the dress looked like it hasn't been touched either) I asked how come and if the stains cannot be removed at all? The gentlemen told me they should be able to remove it and they can run it through again, free of charge of course since I brought the dress in to get the stains out. Not to just run it through a wash.nnAnother week goes by and I get a call from the same guy telling me after all this time, two and half weeks, they need to replace the zipper and they don't have any zippers other than black and white so I have to go buy my own. What alternation place doesn't have a few colored zippers?? Okay fine, I go around town and bought my own zipper and brought it to them. They said they will call me when the seamstress comes in but nothing. I stop by the store again and they said they havnt gotten to it but will call. Three weeks goes by and nothing. I finally called today and they said it's been ready.nnI went to pick it up and thank god at least the stains came out and the zipper was replaced. The gentlemen said he was going to give me a 10% discount for the troubles. How nice of him except they charged me $52 to get my dress dry cleaned and have me go buy my own zipper and charge me EXTRA for the second wash when they told me it was free and another extra alternation fee from the first quote just because they couldn't fix my zipper and had to replace it. Did I mention I had to go buy my own zipper?nnI was so excited for all the high reviews of this place and to finally have a go to dry cleaners and alternations place but I won't ever go back here or recommend this place. Unless you want to be scammed and pay these outrageous charges and wait two months to get one dress cleaned and a zipper replaced.

Great service, I put in the order form online they showed up next day.nnPrice is higher than expected 9 shirts cost $60.79 but service was great.nnI called and asked them to fold the shirts so I can pack them and they showed up in these awesome boxes!
