The Kahala Hotel & Resort

Wonderful place, people, and service. The Kahala still exudes both class without arrogance and a natural sense of calm. We live local and go to the Kahala when we can to get a break from our usual routine and surroundings. We highly recommend!

I have to admit something. I cried happy tears leaving my room/the hotel that's how wonderful of an experience I had. My husband and I came here for our long over due vacation and boy were we blown away by the beauty. We got the ocean front view room and I thought I was looking at a painting. My jaw dropped at the scenery. I especially stayed in my room on our last day just to take in the beauty, I couldn't believe it. I'm not a beach person and it was my first time on a resort and I realized it's not that I don't like the beach, it was that I can't stand the chaos, the struggle to pack 50 things and get wet sand in the long car rise home. The Kahala resort had the private beach and I ENJOYED my time to the max.nnDarell, Gary, Justin at the valet were SUPER wonderful! Darell went above and beyond with us. He didn't sound redundant, he was always personable and had a normal conversation with us!! By day 3 I felt like we had known him for ages! All the valet staff really were my favorite. I bothered them almost every day to take a picture of my husband and I and they were always so happy to do it. I am a shy person, but they made me feel so comfortable that I wasn't hesitant to ask. We came across a lot of the valets there and they were all terrific. Good job Kahala.nnI wish they handed out flower lei's as you entered :( I came to Hawaii for the first time and that's something I truly missed. I understand due to covid they couldn't put it on even if they had them, but they could have put him on a side table for new guests to take. Growing up that's the image I always had of Hawaii with the lei and I really wanted one :(nnThe Kahala resort is SO close to everything! That's another huge plus point.nnThank you Kahala for memories that I couldn't have experienced anywhere else. It was so smooth at your resort and we will keep on recommending you and we are coming back one day or the other!!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay!! Kahala is amazing!! I was greeted warmly and kindly by the valet and bell staff. Despite the fact I had been hiking and was super muddy and sweaty they did not shy away:) The front desk staff were equally as wonderful and check in was a breeze. Every time I walked in or out or around the hotel I was greeted by name by all the amazing staff members. My room was gorgeous, huge and clean. The view of the beach was wonderful! I sat a little bit each day on the porch just watching the beauty! The hotel is in a great location because it’s close to Honolulu but away from the noise and chaos! The WiFi was fast and reliable! I ate 2 meals at the hotel and while expensive the food was phenomenal!! I would highly recommend Kahala and hope to come back!

I grew up going to the Kahala (it was the Kahala Hilton back then) and couldn't wait to go back. It's a beautiful hotel that has retained its 1960s elegance and charm. The rooms are spacious, the views amazing, the beach is amazing, and the service is first class. I can't wait to go back!

A beautiful property with great dinning, and the most secluded beaches. Good for a intimate night out or a nice quiet vacation. The staff are exceptional, and very friendly.
