So I needed some screws & bolts for a small job at home. Went to this place as it looks locally owned. Doors were locked. Had to ring a door bell and the sweetest lady comes up to look for the items you need. Not the most efficient (in my opinion) but she found what I was looking for. Was only like 2.00 and some change so she made me buy a Diet Pepsi to use my card. That was super strange to me as I’m a Diet Coke person. Only rating 3 as I didn’t get to go inside building or anything. Was a short time there, inexpensive purchase, so can’t do a full review. She was super nice and helpful to me. Bring cash if you need small inexpensive items or you’ll be forced to buy a Diet Pepsi or diet Root Beer. LOL! I didn’t even know they made Diet Root beer.
Nothing worst hardware store in the valley. They follow you around the whole store make you feel like a criminal. I always go in with my kids and the cashier checks my 5s to see if the are counterfeit. Remember this isn't ace hardware, so go to another a real ace.
I've come here many times in the past, but was disappointed about asking for an item and waiting outside. I prefer to go in store and see what my options are. I was not happy for what seemed to me, to be a lack of help as well. All because of the 19 virus.
That's not really fair - I work there. I Love the place. I'm usually the cashier when I work ....nbut just as happy helping customers find what they came in for.nIt's a second generation, family owned store and our wonderful customers range from those that have been coming in since the store opened in 1979 to those who have just discovered we are there, tucked behind the trees, in the parking lot that we share with Federico's (open 24/7) - and a few more businesses - on the north side of Peoria Avenue across from Glendale Fire Station No. 154.
I can almost always find what I need at this hardware store. Everytime I go here I feel like it's the best-kept secret in town. The staff is super helpful and friendly and they have a sense of humor.it's my go-to hardware store and they don't make me feel like an idiot when I walk in the door. Plus the staff will offer solutions to problems.
