Evanston Police Department

Reading the negative reviews i must say my encounter with Wyoming PD was different. After attending a beerfest we went and partied in town at the local watering holes. Yeah I drank to much and past out on a bench and was woken up by three officers with flashlights. It did catch me off guard like I was in some crazy dream. They did ask if I was ok and if I was staying here locally. I said yeah I got a room on the other end of town. They said they can't have me out here sleeping and asked if I had anyone here with me to help me get back to my room. I said no they probably all left me, one officer waved a taxi down and said here you go. I got up thanked them and apologized and went on my marry way. I'm a larger size ethnic man and wasn't mistreated in any way. They actually helped me which was awesome! Thanks.

The level of ignorance here is astounding. Granted most police officers are just trying to do their job but the power Trip some of the cops have just blows my mind.

Disrespectful and rude abusive officers have no business carrying a badge

Could be nicer to people.
