Spring River Park

Review of small park across from the main zoo area.nFor a small city with limited resources and a seemingly never ending drought. They are doing their best. There are wide open spaces. Improvements being made at main park. The walk/bike path was nice and even. The views are interesting??? I would not feel safe alone but feel almost confident with a partner and a dog.nDAYTIME only. There is no safety lighting, or obvious security measures.n3 stars because of the security issues.

There is room for improvement, which is what they are working on apparently since they suddenly started charging admission. It was almost $20 for two adults and a 6 year old (more if you're from out of town). There are mysterious fees craftfully disguised as sales tax. I'm not happy about how expensive it is, because frankly, it's not worth the price. However, I am happy to support my local zoo if it means not closing for good.

This little park was so cool! A great place to kill some time and enjoy the animals they have!

The christmas lights were really nice.

Beautiful, quaint, free and diverse zoo in Roswell. Especially loved the bald eagle and train. Definitely worth a visit.
