Speaking All My Truth (04/09/2019)
I don't know what to say really. It's nature, and everything about and in nature is beautiful, is worth exploring and experiencing. We spent three nights out there camping. Got a great spot near to restroom, which btw is a type of compost toilet. Straight hole into the ground, of course with a comfortable seat. We're used to these types so it certainly wasn't an issue. Not having to dig and bury any body fluid is a great thing, lol. Very well kept, no smell surprisingly. Oh, be courteous though and close the lid afterward, keeps the flies at bay. Uh, it was a super close, 14mi, drive to Roswell too where you can go to the town and learn about our alien friends from outer space and they visited so many years ago. However if you're a believer like myself, they're still here and/or still visiting. Saw no ground wild life, only birds. So if you come out before the heat, make sure to stake well. Of course I'm all about making certain our tent is secured. The night winds were something else. Great park to visit, one of the lakes is for swimming, at Lea, yet the water was too too cold for my liking yet it was just beautiful. Take a trip!!

First night was great. Second night we left and went to get some breakfast and we got back we had been robbed. Took everything but the tent. Cops and park rangers were no help at all. First time in 20 years of camping I've ever been robbed at a camp site. Will never go back
