For the price they charge it should be better. No microwave in the room. No fridge in the room. If your on the bottom floor the ceiling creeks a lot from the people moving around the floor above you. No breakfast being served. I been to hotels that were 30 bucks less that had all these amenities.
I walked in without a reservation in the evening and was greeted by a delightful staff member. She had me settled in a King room within minutes. The room was clean, bed comfortable, and the AC worked awesome! Huge TV and solid wifi. I was able to rest well after long hours driving. I would stay there again.
Great hotel, this place was a refuge when Raton Pass was closed due to snow. They take guest security seriously here. Nice rooms with a McDonald's and gas station next door!
It was okay room but way over priced, didn't have breakfast or bottled water for 150 dollars!!! The couches where stained. I've stayed at better hotels paid less and gotten alot more amenities. Even the best western has breakfast in like individual boxes and that was only 70 dollars and a lot nicer than this place.
We were so disappointed in our recent stay. We've stayed here often on our way to northern Colorado. It is usually well maintained, clean, and operated by friendly people. This time, our bathroom was a disaster. The sink stopper didn't work. The bathtub didn't drain and even had dirty water coming up from the drain. When I tried to use the hair dryer, the outlet there had been rendered useless.nWhen I mentioned this to the front desk clerk at checkout, there was no apology nor acknowledgement.nI guess we'll have to find a more reliable place in Raton on our next visit.
