The handlers are so friendly, and while much of the items are kind of, but not really, close to their best by stamp, its all still really great items, and their produce is almost always great. They are super generous and helpful and the ease of how they run it helps to not make you feel overwhelmed. Great food bank.
Super nice food bank. During covid everything is great. Stay in your cars and the volunteers will load up your car based on family size. They give plenty of food. Some of it is of low quality but it's free.
It's just nuts how much bad food I have to throw out. The fruit and veg's, if you get any are on the verge of bad. I have not received any food that I would typically buy on my own..some are frozen to avoid mold and don't taste right. On an average day I throw out most of the food I am given unfortunately. It's pretty horrible but better than nothing.
Always excellent! Staff and volunteers are very kind! Their Cooking Matters classes are very educational. Meeting others from the community and making new friends was a great experience! Very professional informal and courteous staff. I'm glad my husband and I joined this group. Graduating day was fun. I'm taking part 2 course now. We received so many blessings with them.
In this time of need it's great to have the food bank close by. I didn't have the money for a turkey and I needed to get some food in my house. Well I got the much needed turkey and had a nice turkey dinner for my ole man and myself. Thanks
