Unfenced outdoor museum with about a dozen buildings. All but one doors were locked, due to covid. Good explanations are located on the buildings and in a brochure.
Their voicemail says they are open 7 days a week and I drove over an hour from Denver to do some research. Turns out they are closed for the winter but don't bother mentioning it on their voicemail or even have a sign on their door. That's pretty unprofessional conduct and a waste of my time.
Wow! Leadville has an amazing interesting history. Museum is recommended
