Wonderful stop as we explore Kansas. This location is so full of history. Love seeing where the Indians shot up the place. Great location for a picnic too.

The Fort Wallace Museum is a must see venue! Quality exhibits, great staff and top-notch programming! If visiting museums and historic sites is your interest, you must plan a visit to the Fort Wallace Museum on Highway U.S. 40 at Wallace, Kansas. It is on the Western Vjstas Historic By-way, the 1st historic By-way in Kansas.

We didn't have time for the museum and it was cold with freezing wind so I just snapped a couple pix outside! Looks like a neat place tho!
