What an amazing place!!
This place was amazing!!!! Attended a wedding for family this place is simply gorgeous. The outside, inside all the grounds even the bathrooms were amazingud83dude0a...A must see!!!!
The Highlands Ranch Mansion is one of the most architecturally unique structures in Colorado. The Mansion offers over 27,000 square feet (2,500 m2) of living space and at one time contained more than 14 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. The Mansion is open year-round to the public for guided or self-guided tours on most Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 2 pm. Owned and operated by the Highlands Ranch Metro District, that Mansion sits on a 250-acre ranch in the center of Highlands Ranch. Visitors enjoy 5 fireplaces, a large living room, two ballrooms, a dining room, a library, a card room, a butler’s pantry, two kitchens, a bowling alley and a gazebo, all with views of the Front Range and downtown Denver.
We showed up w only 20 mins to closing. They were gracious to provide a quick tour. Very informative, very nice. I would highly recommend.
The place is really well taken care of and looked after. The staff are there because they enjoy what they do which creates a great experience for all visitors. It is not huge but to enjoy all parts of it you should spend about an hour, there are many places of the house that have a lot of history and there are explanations for the renovations that have been done to the house and there have been many renovations done to the house as it had 6 owners over like 200 years. Not to even talk about the outdoor area which is just amazing. In the summer time there are countless variants of flowers that bloom there. Overall a great visit I would recommend because I have been living in Colorado my whole life and never heard of it until not long ago I found it on Google and it was astonishing!
