Nice facility. Staff was friendly, but there seemed to be no life to the exhibits. Much of the museum is based on space education and simulator-type scenarios. If you have time for the WWII aviation museum in Colorado Springs...it’s definitely worth the drive down.

The Wings Over the Rockies is a must see for anyone who is interested in aviation, airplanes, space history, and travel: past, present, and future.nnPlan on spending a minimum of two hours here, probably more. This doesn't include going through the small gift shop either.nnYou will be amazed when you first approach the facility, as there is an airplane parked, rather a permanent part of the facility, right outside the building.nnWhen you walk in, the sheer size of the place is totally over whelming! And all the planes! All the history! I can't begin to explain it! Each display as a card with pertinent information regarding the airplane that you are looking at. There are side exhibits, and a simulator as well.nnWings Over the Rockies, also holds various events throughout the year, so check out their calendar of events on line.nnYou can book your event here, like birthday parties, etc. There are also various educational programs which are offered by the museum too. You can become a member, a volunteer, or perhaps find a career there as well. There are ways to donate as well. Check out their website.nnThe Wings Over the Rockies Museum is a must see for everyone!

As an adult i enjoyed the museum, but I wish they had some more child oriented activities to engage the younger children. We brought our almost 3 year old and she wasn’t that interested in all the exhibits. They do have a small child area but there isn’t as many activities as I would have liked. Overall good experience.

It's a small airplane museum with a focus on educational displays and simulators. It's more suited to children leaning about aviation than to adults interested in history.
