was out of stuck everywhere but Julia did a great job helping me find my shampoo online/ in other stores until I got it.nncame here again and Shanon did wonderful job with all hair iron questions and stuff
Went with my gf. She loves the place so whatever makes her happy is great in my book.
I went to the Ulta on Baldhill Road in Warwick, when I entered I was greeted by their Covid screen person so I asked the woman if there was anybody on the sales floor that could assist me as they were closing in 10 minutes and I wanted to be quick for them to get out in a timely manner. She said no not right now. I’m not sure why there were only two employees in the entire store, and not a single sales associate on the floor to assist customers.nnI’m going to add to this as I received a response but am unable to reply to the responder. You say you strive for customer service but I strongly disagree. In the last month i’ve shopped in Mac, Sephora, and Sally’s beauty supply. All establishments in which I was greeted and assisted in each of my purchases. I myself work in customer service, so the fact that two employees in this location remained behind the cashwrap and neither of them would assist me on the sales floor shows that customer service is in fact not your priority. I shopped Ulta for convenience but I definitely will not be returning as this is not the first time I’ve had a poor experience with the staff.
I went here for a simple cut and it took 2.5 hours. I ended up with a nice cut but it was nothing like the picture I had shown the stylist. The length of time it took for just a cut was really bizarre especially when the end result was not what was wanted. It ate up my entire morning. I won’t be back.
I had an appointment for a 20 minute facial and a makeover with my sister today. We had Mandy as the facial specialist, if you will, and Marissa as the makeup artist. I will say, my sister and I were very pleased with Mandy's' work, she really knows what she's doing. We both loved every second of the facial, and want to come back soon. However, Marissa's work wasn't comparable at all. I am experienced in makeup, so when Marissa had asked what type of look I wanted to achieve, I already had something in mind. I had mentioned I've always wanted to try a smokey- eye look, and she managed to achieve that. I will say, overall, for my personal look, I liked the eyes, and my brows looked decent. However, the application of the foundation wasn't to my liking, and I felt as if it was too heavy, looked caked on and not blended well. She also blended the foundation too far up into not only my hairline, let alone, my sister's. My sister had mentioned to Marissa many times that she is not experienced in makeup at all. So, when Marissa had asked what type of look my sister wanted to achieve, my sister went by a picture reference for her look. After Marissa had completed the eye look on my sister, my sister had said that she didn't like the look, and would like to try something new. Once this was addressed, my sister had decided on a new look, and Marissa agreed to re-do the makeup, however, she rushed through it. She had pointed out to my sister that she now only had 20 minutes to finish the look, which is understandable. She rushed through my sister's whole look, and didn't bother to offer any products (foundation, blush, contour, etc), like she did when doing my makeup, in fact she didn't even put blush or contour/bronze on my sister. My sister had wanted to use a red liquid lipstick, yet, Marissa butchered the lips. In my opinion, she should have used a lip liner first. All in all, the end results weren't the best, my sister felt like a clown, ended up taking off her lipstick before we even left the store, and taking off the makeup when we got home was a process. We aren't trying to call Marissa out, yet, we just feel as if she could use some more experience.
