I've worked with Carter for the last 20 years and always had premium results, these were my go to guys. My last project was a mess. Most of my lumber sent had been previous returns. I was sent 8' precuts for my 9' walls. More than half of my floor joists they sent were cracked and moldy. When I returned it they just sent more of the same junk probably from the same pile even after I asked to make sure they were good. I kept track of my returns and was shorted money both times until I brought it up. If you want to build with warped, cracked, bowed, twisted, moldy lumber then this is your place! It's very disappointing for a group of guys I trusted and thought highly of.
