Such a neat place! We loved the little museum inside. The kids (boys 3 & 9) were surprisingly interested in everything. We walked through all the little buildings/houses, climbed the clock tower, and of course enjoyed the slides and digging area! My boys loved it! The oldest liked the bicycle building the most. The youngest obviously liked the slides the most. My parents also came and although my dad doesn't usually last too long walking he made it through the whole place, minus the tower and slides. We all enjoyed our visit and can't wait to come back and see the new additions once they're complete. Definitely fun for all ages!

Whether a native to the region or just passing through, Carillon Historical Park will undoubtedly teach you something new about the Gem City. The museum offers experiential and spatial recreations of Dayton's extensive contributions to modern American culture and society, from flight, to automobiles, to cash registers, to the voice of Bart Simpson. Aim for nice weather so you can explore the ever-growing collection of historic buildings and the treasures tucked in them, plus outdoor features like a lookout tower and trains. Perfect for curious kids and adults alike.

I visited this park several times 2 years ago, by myself and with elderly friends. It is amazing how much history has been brought to one spot. I continue to recommend it. The print shop, vehicles, cash registers, and visual history of the flood were outstanding memories and very well presented! The park itself is pleasant. (The restaurants were great idea.) I had a person in a wheel chair with me twice, and almost all of the exhibits were do-able with them.)

Much more than we expected. So much local history that changed the way we live. Plenty for kids to enjoy. It is like visiting multiple small museums with all of the historic buildings on site. The Wright Museum is a must. We spent over four hours with a quick lunch at the Carillon Brewing Company on site which we also enjoyed. We will visit again.

We went here because google showed the Wright Brothers museum on the map. It was so much more.nA bit hard to find, since we were looking for a museum, and this looked more like a distillery and restaurant.nOnce inside the grounds, there are a lot of historical buildings, which have been moved to this location.nThere is a really cool building dedicated to the Dayton flood.nThere's an old school house, cabins. So much to see.nAll of the staff know their stuff and are very friendly.nThis was just a quick side stop for us to stretch out legs and turned out to be a favorite of our vacation.
