Rome Train Station

Good clean and safe. If not for the bathrooms they could be the best.

Happiness! Joy! Rome station has opened to passenger traffic again. The Empire on the way to Utica just stopped and picked up passengers today, December 18th at 7:53 PM. It is surprising how happy I am about this news. This is pretty much a direct link to the Erie Canal. It is an unattended station where wedding parties visit to take pictures outside and inside. I can catch the Birnie Bus to Rome and then board at Rome. This is my Christmas gift from Amtrak.

Old station but decent.

Clean quiet and convenient for travel.
