Depew Amtrak Station

It was such an Amazing visit, got so many trains. Honestly, I think of it as a hotspot for railfanners to go visit.

The Greatest place to railfan in depew! Parking is usually available and there are benches on the platform to sit on. The trains come not 10 feet in front of you! However, sometimes there is an unmarked police car parked there, so be wary of that.

Amtrack is becoming my favorite way to travel

A quite smallish Station with 110 seats inside and Parking for 40 Cars, short term free parking. The average train picks up 5 to 30 passengers from this station. I have been here as of 21 July 2019, 19 times. While the Snack machines are the typical Two Dollars Ten Cent to three dollars seventy five cents. These prices are typical of Train Stations all along the Am Track New York Line. The Ticket Price to New York Penn' Station from Buffalo Depew is below 130 Dollars. The trip takes between nine and ten hours to complete. The Trains are Clean and Neat. The summer months are on average are a temperature of 83 degrees with a humidity of between 65 and 90 percent by 1:00 PM. I only travel in the spring summer and fall months. Snow causes delays, so I do not travel by train between nov 15 through feb 15 if I can help it. The trains depart from this station on average every three hours. beginning at 7:40 am going eastwards towards New York Pen Station. Be at the Station one half hour before depart if traveling with an E-Ticket or 45 minuets if buying a ticket at this station. The average age of child passengers is between 4 and 16 years of age. Adults rage from 18 to 65 with an average age of 27. there are two stops west beyond this station at Buffalo Transfer and Niagara Falls Amtrak stations
