Cheektowaga Police Department

I'm a black female. Just moved to Cheektowaga... I felt harassed by my neighbor. The officer was very nice and helped out. Made me feel safe and told me not to hesitate to call again. Thank you Cheektowaga department. God bless :)

Very dishonest!

I was greatly helped by all the personnel (officers and secretaries) in the inquiries regarding my car accident. I was treated with courtesy and kindness, and they went the extra mile to insure my satisfaction. Well done to a great department that polices and protects a large area.

I was involved in an accident in a very high traffic area and called for help, it took the police 45mins to come to the scene. Multiple people had called as well and one stated they were told to stop calling because they were aware! After finally waiting for them to arrive they wrote out the police report which mind you was wrong and lacking information. driving down the street after and there were 2 police officers to one vehicle at a traffic stop!!! Get your priorities in order because there were victims sitting on the side of the highway with no help!!!!

In my opinion, Cheektowaga does not care about victims of rape or domestic violence. Don't bother calling them or making a report. They take forever to get back to you and make up excuses for why they can not prosecute.
