Lincoln Station (Haymarket)

I am a fan of the railroads ever since I was a little boy, getting on a train fills me with a joy and wonderment that I can only describe as magical. My goal is to ride some of the most scenic railways in the world, but this station will have to give me my rush for now

The Haymarket Station is really clean and well cared for......you can tell be the thriving potted succulents throughout. The employees are very friendly and knowledgable. They are very helpful and more than willing to answer questions. Amtrak passes through in the early a.m. when downtown Lincoln is a little sketchy....eerie even. It's comforting to see the friendly faces in those awesome Amtrak uniforms! If a job opens up in my area, I'm applying!

Nice and clean station, the only train service here is the California Zephyr on its way between California and Chicago, the train arrives here late at night and early in the morning and can be very late sometimes.

I love taking one of these trains to travel. However, this particular stations trains always seem to be late.

I've taken the train once and the air conditioner was out, there was no ice and the staff was rud . The second time we were td the train would depart 8 hours lat . We drove. This time our son is.coming from Denver it taken 12 hour . Fly or driv . Do not take the train.
